Bond Clean Checklist

What does a bond clean consist of? To assist you with understanding what we consider standard cover within our bond cleans, we have provided you with the bond clean checklist our cleaners follow. Additional tasks can be added upon request.

Kitchen

  • Wipe down the inside and outside of all cupboards and doors.
  • Remove and replace any liner if torn or peeling.
  • Clean the inside and outside of oven and griller.
  • Be sure to wipe away grease from doors, trays, racks and glass.
  • Clean the inside, outside and behind large appliances such as a refrigerator or dishwasher. (If applicable)
  • Clean all windows, sills, tracks and screens.
  • Wipe down all counters and splash backs with soap and water.
  • Clean sinks and taps and remove all food residue from drains.
  • Mop entire floor.

Living Area & Bedroom’s

  • Clean light fittings – Gently remove fittings and wipe away all dust and dead bugs that may be present.
  • Wipe away dust from ceiling fan base and blades – was gently with soap and warm water.
  • Wash down walls and remove stains with non-abrasive soap and water.
  • Clean all windows, sills, tracks, screens, curtains and (blinds if applicable)
  • Clean all light switches and skirting boards.
  • Remove covers and clean all vents. Wipe away all dust from vent covers.
  • Sweep and mop all hardwood floors.
  • Vacuum all carpeted floors.

Bathroom

  • Wash the inside and outside of all cupboards, drawers and shelves, removing all scuff marks.
  • Clean all walls, mirrors, windows and window tracks.\
  • Make sure mirrors and windows are streak free.
  • Clean shower, shower grout, glass doors, shower screens and shower curtain.
  • Be sure to remove all soap scum build-up and replace shower curtain if needed.
  • Clean toilet bowl and cistern, as well as the pipes behind.
  • Clean sinks and faucets. Remove any hair or soap scum build up from walls.
  • Mop entire floor surface. Don’t forget the hard-to-reach corners where a lot of bathroom grime builds up.

Laundry Room

  • Clean the inside, outside and around washer and dryer machines.
  • Wipe cleaning residue away and remove all lint from filters.
  • Wash the inside and outside of all cupboards, drawers and shelves, removing all scuff marks.
  • Clean behind machines, removing all dust from hoses and connections.
  • Sweep and mop all floors. Residue might be tough to remove – use rough sponge and hand scrub.

Garage, Carport & Driveway

  • Wash Windows inside and outside. (If applicable)
  • Remove all boxes from garage or carport and only leave supplies, tools, or items that were there when you first arrived.
  • Remove all dust and cobwebs from the ceiling rafters, walls and shelves using a broom and long duster.
  • Pressure wash the ground to loosen and remove any oil stains.
